Description

The Maxspect Ethereal Infinite E8-230 is a flagship-tier reef aquarium LED fixture engineered for larger systems requiring elevated PAR penetration and intense spectral output. Drawing a real-world power consumption of 215.8W to 230W, this model shares the same high-density array of 276 individual lensed LED chips as its smaller counterpart. By capitalizing on this massive diode redundancy, the system drives the hardware at roughly 32% of its 726W theoretical maximum capacity, virtually eliminating thermal decay, protecting the semiconductor junctions, and completely mitigating long-term color drift.
Technical Specifications & Features

  • High-Output Spectral Penetration: Engineered to handle deep reef tanks, the E8-230 maintains a high PAR floor down to 70 cm depth, making it perfect for 200L to 400L aquariums filled with light-demanding Acropora and other SPS corals.
  • 8-Channel Color-Blending Cluster: Employs a unique ring-shaped array behind a unifying 90° TrueReef lens to guarantee perfect color blending and uniform light spread without a "disco ball" effect. Control encompasses crucial photosynthetic wavelengths across 8 channels, including deep blue (435–440 nm), violet (410–420 nm), and dual red channels (660–665 nm).
  • No-Loss Power Architecture: Designed to utilize the full 230W footprint seamlessly across multiple channel combinations. Whether transitioning to a deep actinic blue configuration or a high-intensity daylight spectrum, the system ensures zero power drop-off.
  • Industrial-Grade Thermal Design: Housed in an ultra-slim 3.25 cm premium aluminum alloy chassis weighing 1613g. The entire top plate acts as a passive heat-dissipating sink, regulated by an active, intelligent cooling fan system to keep internal component temperatures minimized.
  • Multi-Module Smart Syncing: Operates via the Syna-G Cloud app, featuring an advanced multi-module linking function. Large-front reef systems requiring multiple fixtures can effortlessly group and synchronize photoperiod ramping, lunar cycles, and global "Coral Habitat" presets.
  • Physical Architecture & Ergonomics: Features an integrated tilt-sensor that instantly shuts off the array when flipped up for tank maintenance. The accompanying multi-configurable aluminum mounting arm handles glass panels from 10 mm to 20 mm thick, letting you center the fixture on aquariums measuring 20 to 27 inches from front to back.
