Description

The Hobby Artemia Sieve Combination is an essential multi-mesh filtration kit designed for aquarists to effortlessly strain, sort, and harvest live or frozen fish food. Say goodbye to single-use paper filters. This 4-piece stackable grading system isolates everything from microscopic larvae to fully grown adult brine shrimp with absolute precision.
Streamline Your Live Food Harvesting

Feeding live foods like Artemia (brine shrimp) is the absolute best way to trigger your fish's natural hunting instincts, vibrant coloration, and rapid growth. However, dumping salty, contaminant-filled culture water or unhatched shells into your pristine aquarium can cause rapid water quality issues.
The Hobby Artemia Sieve Combination isolates your live cultures from their breeding water in seconds. This allows you to rinse your catch with fresh water before feeding, keeping your tank clear of unwanted nitrates and waste water.
Four Precision Micron Mesh Sizes

The four square sieves feature specialized mesh densities that let you sort different stages of live food or separate target organisms from debris:
  • 120 / 180 µm: Perfect for trapping newly hatched Artemia nauplii, copepods, and microscopic fry food.
  • 300 µm: Ideal for mid-sized juvenile brine shrimp and small daphnia.
  • 560 µm: Captures larger live food varieties while filtering out smaller debris.
  • 900 µm: Designed for adult brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and separating empty eggshells.
Key Product Features

  • Versatile Sorting: Grade different sizes of live food (like Daphnia, Copepods, and Brine Shrimp) to feed different fish species according to their growth stage.
  • Frozen Food Companion: Excellent for thawing frozen food cubes and rinsing away the nutrient-heavy, foul-smelling condensation water before feeding.
  • Space-Saving Stacking: The compact 8.5 x 8 cm interlocking frames stack neatly together over your sink for simultaneous multi-stage filtration.
  • Durable & Easy Clean: Built with high-quality, lightweight black plastic and long-lasting mesh that rinses clean in seconds under tap water.
