Description

Create the ultimate habitat for your dwarf shrimp with AQUAEL H.E.L.P. Advanced Soil Shrimp. Engineered in Japan by AquaCenteR, this professional active substrate is tailored specifically to meet the strict environmental demands of freshwater shrimp. By naturally optimizing your water chemistry and fueling the growth of newborn shrimp, it turns any nano tank or breeding setup into a thriving, crystal-clear ecosystem.
Why Choose AQUAEL H.E.L.P. Shrimp Soil?

  • Perfect Water Chemistry, Naturally: Actively lowers and buffers carbonate hardness (KH) to under 3°d and keeps the pH stable within an ideal 5.5–6.5 range. It creates the exact soft, slightly acidic environment that sensitive Caridina (like Crystal Red, Taiwan Bees, King Kong) and Neocaridina species need to thrive.
  • Infused with Humic Acids: Rich in natural humic acids that slowly release into the water column. This mimics their wild blackwater habitats, boosting shrimp activity, strengthening immune health, and drastically improving egg maturation and shrimplet survival rates.
  • Superior Biological Filtration: The highly porous, 100% natural baked volcanic earth granules act as a massive structural matrix for beneficial nitrifying bacteria. This helps lock away toxic nitrogen compounds and accelerates tank maturation.
  • Zero Shock, Clear Results: Unlike heavily nutrient-loaded plant soils that cause initial ammonia spikes, the Shrimp formula focuses entirely on stability. It binds impurities to deliver crystal-clear water rapidly, with zero need for pre-washing before installation.
  • Stunning Visual Contrast: The dark, regularly shaped black grit (approx. 1–4 mm or 2.5 mm diameter) forms a dramatic backdrop that makes the vibrant reds, blues, and whites of your shrimp explode with colour while providing a dark ground where they feel completely safe.
Specifications:

  • Volume: 3-Litre Bag (Ideal for creating a standard nano tank or a foundational layer of at least 4 cm).
  • Origin: Formulated and manufactured in Japan.
  • Grain Size: Standard Multi-Grain (1–4 mm) or Powder Variant (1–2 mm) for tiny shrimplets.
